Finally found the exact replacement part I needed for the end of my line, and it works perfectly to stop the mist flow. The dual function as both a misting head and a stopper is really clever, saving me from buying an extra cap.

Was a bit worried about finding the right spare part, but this misting head fit perfectly and seals the end of the line exactly as described. The water stops right at the valve, no drips at all.

Finally got around to replacing the old end cap and this valve does double duty—mists and stops the flow perfectly. The plastic feels sturdy enough for regular backyard use.
